Our Complaints and Inquiry Mechanism was presented as a success story at the annual RSPO Sustainable Oil Roundtable conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Through the Complaints and Queries Mechanism, free, confidential and secure, employees, communities and anyone can report issues related to the company, work area or community. Our Complaints and Consultation Mechanism aligned with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, within the framework of continuous improvement, has evolved over the years, currently having a solid governance structure, which is implemented through an independent unit under the supervision of the Compliance area and the Corporate Mechanism Assurance Committee, which guarantees its confidential and secure operation, indicated Irene Aycinena, Sustainability Assurance Manager, in her presentation. Thanks to the leadership of the Compliance team, progress has been significant, ensuring its proper functioning, guaranteeing the confidentiality of the investigations.
